The Governors of Mitton Manor Primary School are looking to appoint a Clerk that is integral to the board in providing advice and interpretation on the regulatory and administrative framework of an Academy. This role is primarily to ensure minutes and agendas are distributed, records kept and academy compliance is adhered to. The role is for 3.25 hours per week term time only plus 3 weeks.

Our Governing body uses a committee structure to undertake their monitoring and evaluation of roles. Membership and terms of references of these committees are determined annually. There are 4 Full Governors Meetings, 6 Business and Finance, 3 Education committee meetings per school year which are usually held on School premises, however due to the current situation the meetings are taking place virtually and will do for the foreseeable future, each meeting usually lasts 2 hours.

• Excellent word processing skills
• Confidentiality and impartiality
• A willingness to undergo training in order to fulfil the role
