Safeguarding

KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE

Children Protection is our highest priority.

We believe that one the key roles of our school is to provide a caring, positive, safe and stimulating environment which promotes the social, physical and moral development of every individual child in our care, so that they grow up secure, confident and independent.

We recognise that all staff members have a full and active part to play in protecting our pupils from harm. Our pupils have the right to protection, regardless of age, gender, race, culture or disability.

Our school has a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) who has responsibility for this.

Our DSL is Miss Jones

Our Deputy Designated Leads are Mrs Heather and Miss Gibson

Our Trustee's responsible for Safeguarding are Caroline Lawrence and Jennie Breedon

All  concerns regarding Child Protection issues in the school should be referred to Miss Jones in the first instance. This responsibility extends to every member in the community and it is of vital importance that all concerns are reported in confidence without delay to the Safeguarding Team.
