School Prefects at Mitton Manor Primary School
At Mitton Manor Primary School, we believe that prefects have a very important role to play in the day to day organisation of our school and as only Year Six pupils are allowed to apply for this position, it is considered to be very prestigious. The position not only allows the Year Six pupils to lead by example and demonstrate their responsibility, it also enables the younger children to learn from a good example.
The Prefects at Mitton Manor Primary School, must lead by example at all times in their behaviour, the respect they show to others and their school uniform. A prefect’s role is varied and to be awarded a school prefect jumper is considered to be a real privilege.

" As prefects, we are role models to all students and our fellow prefects. We help to monitor behaviour during school and act as the ears and eyes for Miss Jones. We do our very best to understand your problems and be there to help. We are all clearly visible by the purple jumpers that we wear as part of our school uniform. "
