Following the announcement yesterday regarding school closures we are awaiting clarification about opening for vulnerable children and children of key workers. Every professional who works with children wants to provide the best for all the children in our society, however, these are very challenging times and the organisation of such a service needs to be planned carefully. Many of the staff that could be used are currently unavailable due to illness or self isolation. We currently have many staff in this category and send them our best wishes for a full recovery.
We would like to establish a list of those children who would fall into this category. If you consider yourself to be a “key worker” or that your child is “vulnerable” please inform the school office stating your child’s name and your job role by 3.00 p.m. Friday 20th March so that we can consider you in further planning. email@example.com
Teachers at Mitton Manor will be working every day to provide digital learning via Seesaw which every child should now have received a log in for. We are excited to use this resource and are testing it out today and tomorrow. Please let the office know if you have any difficulties with it. Staff will be feeding back to your child throughout each day. However, please be aware, the staff may become sick themselves. We are hoping this will not happen but I have asked teachers to post a notice on Seesaw if they are sick so please bear with them and do not expect feedback if the teacher is sick.
Admin and I are available via email throughout school closures and we will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible.
