About the role:
Working as part of the academy team you will be able to create a secure, happy and stimulating classroom environment, whilst maintaining the highest standards of organisation and behaviour. You will provide children with the opportunity to manage their own learning and become independent thinkers. You will be proactive and diligent when planning and accessing. The role requires strong teamwork skills as well as a high level of flexibility.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about engaging and enthusing children to learn. They should be able to develop excellent relationships with pupils, parents and staff and also carry out other tasks requested by the HT.

Classroom Teaching Assistant Key Stage 2
GRADE F (pts 6 - 12) £19,177-21,589 pa pro rata
Start date: 02.09.19
A teaching assistant (TA) is required to support the development and education of children in our school. the post is currently based in Key Stage Two, primarily with a Year 3 class. A commitment to high standards of care, learning and team work are essential. Knowledge of, and experience with mainstream primary education is a distinct advantage. Much of the work is within classroom, guided and supported by the class teacher, though there will be times when you might be required to work out of the classroom, supporting children within small groups or on an individual basis. A calm and flexible approach is required throughout your work.
The post is for 5 mornings per week (totalling 17.5 hrs), Monday to Friday, term time only, with options for INSET days where appropriate, payable at the new rate commensurate with 'old' Grade F (pro rata), depending on experience. Offered as a fixed term contract in the first instance until 31.07.2020, for the successful candidate there is a possibility of a permanent contract to follow.
